Mead

Grove Vineyards & Winery has over 30 beehives in our Vineyards allowing us to extract raw pure honey that these busy Honey Bees forage in the Haw River Valley Corridor. With the rolling Haw River within 250 yards providing fresh water, wild blackberries, golden rod and neighboring farms growing Apples, Elderberries and Tree Orchards, Grove’s estate made Honey and Mead is unique in its taste and fine quality and to cap it off- the Honey Bees forage on all of our Grape Varieties that have either burst during season or after harvest. So yes really the bees are using the sugars from our Merlot, Nebbiolo and Cabernet Sauvignon to take back to the hive.
